Naughty Dog Private Island Log Cabin

I can't say enough about our stay on our own private island. It was beautiful and stress free and just amazing. Off the grid living was so worth it. Kent and his crew were always available and provided an endless supply of firewood and drinking water and anything else we needed. The fishing was impeccable, the tree colors, the weather. It was better then we ever anticipated. Thank you Kent - we will be back

We had a lovely stay at the Naughty Dog Island. It was a one of a kind experience and we loved everything about it.

“Your dogs only see how far you take them.”<br/>Naughty Dog Island was everything we expected and more. My wife and I were looking for a nature getaway to take our two dogs, so they could run off leash and enjoy the outdoors. But as two dogs who can get nervous around others, finding something was difficult - until we stumbled on Kent’s listing. <br/>The house was exactly what we needed. We were able to grill, sit by the fire, unplug, and let our dogs roam and swim worry free. Kent was super accommodating and helpful leading up to and throughout the stay. The cabin came fully stocked with wood, supplies, and everything we needed. <br/>Can’t recommend it enough and already can’t wait to go back.

Our weekend getaway at Naughty Dog Island left us wanting to stay for a week or more. <br/>What an extraordinary experience to have an entire island all to ourselves in the middle of a pristine lake.<br/>My two dogs were able to explore their surroundings off leash without me helicoptering and experience the joy of swimming for the first time…and then whenever they chose afterward. <br/>Kent and Heather have created a most unique and memorable getaway on NDI. Their hospitality and attention to detail (copious gallons of fresh water, super indoor solar light set up, Jotul wood stove ready to light, cleanest(!) grill for cooking) illustrate their commitment to safety and a lux off-grid experience. Thank you, Kent and Heather!

This cabin was absolutely wonderful-- away from the daily grind and serene. We brought our 3 dogs and it was doggy heaven for them, they had free range of the island and kept themselves busy while we got to sit back and relax. The wildlife was also beautiful, tons of birds singing their songs day and night. To top it all off, Kent was very informative and friendly and responded to our needs in good time. We, including the puppy dogs, HIGHLY recommend staying at Kenny's Naughty Dog Island!

Naughty Dog Island was one of the most epic destinations we have ever stayed. picturesque, serene late summer solitude with our crazy dog. Our dog Milo wears a muzzle and leash whenever out walking in the city. having a place we he could run free without even a collar, play in the water, experience nature, run out the screen door, was very relaxing. the cabin is lovely and well appointed for easy living. we just grilled, fished, paddled , and took in all the amazing nature. Milo learned to ride on the standup paddleboard along the shallow clear water shores. Leading up to the trip, Kent kept us informed of what to expect, the many different options for arrival, and great advice on how to pack light, which made our canoe trip with gear and dog more fun across the lake. Kent has created a bit of paradise up in Maine - treat yourself and get on up there. The Loons are calling you...
