Naughty Dog Private Island Log Cabin

My 3rd stay at Little Cabin Island and it won’t be my last! Notable additions/improvements since my last stay in 2020: an outdoor shower (so convenient!) + the process to haul luggage to/from the dock has been made much easier with sturdy new carts + they will deliver a back-up portable power source to charge your cell etc if needed. Also worth noting that the host is great— Kent is very helpful, responsive and has a great sense of humor!

Wow what a wonderful spot! A truly amazing host, location and cabin. Kent, the host was super responsive and was responsive/helpful above and beyond all expectations. Our cabin on the small island was cute and well stocked with kitchen utensils, fishing poles, kayaks and a canoe. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We had the best time. Kent was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the piece of heaven on Little Cabin Island. We will be back!

An phenomenally wonderful stay, we could not have asked for more. One Big Sustainable Island is an absolute gem of a place to spend a weekend (or longer)! From the beautiful surroundings, to the helpfulness of the host, to the fact that it’s YOUR OWN PRIVATE ISLAND, this place delivers on all counts!

Unfortunately I can only go up to 5 star, this place and it's host deserve way more than that. Such an amazing experience. strongly recommend.

Absolutely perfect getaway! I was able to stay here this past weekend with my girlfriend and our dog. Little cabin island has so much character for a small, private island! We lucked out with warm weather for November. Such a beautiful place, can’t wait to come back next year!

Little Cabin Island has been a breath of fresh air! Our little family of 4 (plus our old lady beagle) made the most beautiful memories here and not 1 of us wanted to leave after our 5 day stay. Kent was a pure pleasure to be around and his hospitality was top notch! We expected a more run down, moldy, cold cabin so you can imagine our surprise when we arrived to a beautifully built cabin, with no mold, no cold breezes through the house...the smell of wood wafted through the cabin. My husband and I both have bad backs and I must say that the pullout futon and the bed were both so comfortable as were the pillows. The hot outdoor shower was a treat! We did a lot of fishing in the canoe and that as a blast for us and our 2 young daughters. The foliage, the loons, the weather...it was all so perfect. Thank you, Kent, for giving us a place to escape to because we sure needed this and it exceeded all our expectation!

We just returned from a long weekend at little cabin island. Enjoyed the entire experience. Mother Nature gave us a lot of rain but it was still a wonderful way to get away and be unplugged. As much as the humans enjoyed themselves - the DOG had her absolute BEST life ever! She LOVED being off leash - swimming, sniffing in and around animal holes, watching the loons, finding random tennis balls and crashing out in front of the wood stove. Kent is really great to deal with. Booking the place and “before you arrive” information is helpful, well spelled out and humorously written so don’t forget to read it. He is a wealth of knowledge as well as helpful and if you need anything he is just a text and a boat ride away. Gas grill outside/double burner propane cooking inside was convenient. If you follow the compost toilet directions it is not bad at all. Bring stuff to do in case it rains - books, games (some are available at the cabin but bring your favorites if you have certain ones), word games, etc. The dock is great! Sit out there and meditate, have coffee, fish, swim, eat s’mores or whatever else you like to do sitting there enjoying the lovely lake. Thanks Kent! We really enjoyed our stay!
