It is so hard to put into words just how wonderful Little Cabin Island is. The island, cabin and various wildlife creates the most relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere that one could ask for in a getaway. Every morning sitting on the deck listening to the loons and watching the lake ripple in the morning light was an absolute gift. Kent, Jo and Shadow are amazing hosts who made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the whole stay. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!

Don’t known what to say that the past 69 reviewers haven't said already. LCI was everything we expected. What a great escape! Joann and Kent are wonderful host ! The trip was booked with our dog Maisie in mind. She had the time of her life on LCI and exploring 1BSI , tho she was a bit anxious on the canoe ride to and fro. GREAT TIME, but too short !

I can't say enough positive things about our experience at LCI. Joanne was a wonderful host - she responded quickly to all questions, offered as much help as we needed, and gave us space when we didn't. Check in was thorough and easy. LCI is quiet and romantic, and has all the necessary amenities. We got to canoe over to the big island and poke around over there - a fun little adventure! The sweet guest book that was in our cabin reinforced all of the positive feelings we had about the space - people wrote during their honeymoons and babymoons and engagements and we felt all of that love! Highly, highly recommended.
little cabin island is everything described! jo and kent are absolutely delightful hosts-- very communicative and quick to respond, happy to help with anything you need. jo even gave me some fresh basil from her garden :) the cabin is super clean and well cared for. our dog had the best time being the queen of the island and it was nice to not have to worry since she can't get very far on a teeny private island! if you are looking for a place to slow down into the quiet rhythms on the lake, this is the place for you.
The little island was heaven on earth! It was like food for the soul! Highly recommended!
