Naughty Dog Private Island Log Cabin

First time staying at the Naughty Dog Island. My dog and I stayed for the whole week and it was truly paradise on earth . The pictures don’t do it justice . Kent and Heather were truly great and extremely helpful with all my questions . The weather was beautiful and my dog got to swim , run around leash free and even learn how to be in a canoe ! We can’t wait to be back !!

This is our third time staying at the Naughty Dog Private Island, and every time we come, we are surprised by improvements that make our stay more comfortable. If you need to disconnect from the craziness of modern life, just come to this island, relax, reconnect with nature, and recharge. That’s how we feel every time we are here. This island has everything to make your stay fun and relaxing, whichever is your preference. Kent and Heather are one of the best hosts we’ve ever seen, they think of everything to make sure you relax from the beginning until the end of your stay. We highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back next year.

This place is special. Last thing we expected to see on the island was a deer. Was cool to watch her swim back to the mainland. Best part was being able to let my 2 pups off leash and free to explore. They had the best time ever ! We will be back next year for sure ! In fact maybe a new yearly tradition ! We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The cabin is charming and the surroundings are beautiful. Enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, hiking, swimming, and taking in the peaceful nature that’s all around. We canoed each day to the Big Island and walked the trails with our dog. Couldn’t have been nicer.

We had an absolutely beautiful, special, memorable and meaningful stay here, and immediately started plotting how to get back asap on our ride home. Naughty Dog Island is breathtaking, so incredibly peaceful, is a magical world all in it's own, and wow Kent has really figured it all out. Everything is so well thought out, from the nature of off-grid living to the peaceful hang out spots, the impressive communication making sure we had everything we needed, and with immediate response to any questions, we felt right at home and cared for in the best possible way. Kent and Heather went way above above and beyond for us, and were the kindest, sweetest, and most thoughtful hosts. The house was so comfortable and the island just gorgeous. Super easy and flexible check in/out and logistics of getting to and from. I can't say enough good things about this absolute gem of a place. I highly recommend a stay here, and promise you will never want to leave. Thank you Kent + Heather!!!!!

We didn’t know what to expect at Naughty Dog Island besides peaceful seclusion and alternative living for a few days but we ended up getting so much more from the experience. Kent has everything you would need including pristine filtered drinking water and plenty of battery powered items (fans, lights, cell phone charger) to make it as connected or unplugged as you want. We only really slept, cooked over the open fire, read books, and most importantly swam our dogs until they snored loudly every night. We need to go back again and if everything stays exactly the same it will still be what we need as a getaway.

Never disappoints always a great place to get away and enjoy nature and have peace and quiet. Kent is always an amazing host and makes sure you are good to go daily with lots of ice and charged fresh batteries and anything else you may need. Naughty dog island is our favorite place with our dog for her to roam free and enjoy the water.

Naughty Dog Island is the perfect private family getaway. We paddled, fished (and even caught), played board games next to a cozy fire and grilled up some delicious burgers. Kent and crew had us equipped with everything we needed for a Mine lake holiday. They are gracious hosts and this cabin is such a hidden gem a mere stone throw’s from Portland. The best part was the fabulous time our pup had. We will certainly be returning!

Incredible location! Island Time is real - two hours in and we felt like we'd been there an entire day. Gorgeous cabin, cozy and private, and a real sense of peace. We're absolutely going to return, and this will probably become an annual ritual for us. If you're looking to get away for a bit - AWAY away - this is the place for you.
